Continuing the effort to connect with Banaras’ artists and surface the artist within us all – a painting workshop was organised at the Roobaroo House, where Hitesh and Sandeep – artists at India’s top Fine Arts University, BHU, taught us painting the fun way!

Not only did they touch upon the fundamentals of painting, but also shared perspectives on how to look at the world through a painter’s eyes. Ghats, Ganga, temples, Sadhus, Sky, Chattris… May not have been the prettiest but we painted them all, and with lots of colours
