Learn how to fly those colourful kites that you’ve always been so thrilled to watch. Let Rambabu Ji, a winner of several local championships, guide you through the whole process by breaking it down into easy 1-2-3 steps. The setting would be the rooftop of Rambabu Ji’s ancestral house along the Ganga Ghats – which also makes for some excellent photo opportunities!
About the host – A boatman by profession, Rambabu Ji is a man of multiple talents! He has won many a Kite-flying, Swimming, and Wrestling competitions during his youth and even today, at the age of 35, continues to nurture his hobbies while also successfully raising his family with his wife and 2 kids. He is a typical Banarasi – in love with life. In his boat, you will always find a Kite and a string

Hello Magic!
For some shock and awe on one hand and to checkbox a unique destination off the bucket list on the other,we (couple and my 24 yr daughter) ventured into this city. The tempo picked up as I get introduced to aayush rathi, super qualified and a former BCG consultant who runs roobaroo walks, a storytelling outfit. Whether it is the food trails, kite flying with the banaras champion, understanding classical music from a bunch of musicians, or watching the traditional kushti akharas or travelling through to Banaras’ countless attractions;squares, tulsidas and other peers homes,and ofcourse some famous temples, we are spolit for choice. And ofcourse the bewitching

I have been on many, many walks with Aayush and also several people on his team at Roobaroo – in Varanasi as well as in Delhi! All are SUPERB! The food walks are my favourite, and they also arrange unique experiences like learning how to fly a kite on the rooftops of Varanasi! I can’t recommend them enough!
