We signed up for three of Roobaroo’s tours: the early morning boat ride, the evening Ganga aarti, and the North Walk. All of them, without exception, were brilliant! Anchal (who led the boat rides) and Aayush (who guided us during the walk) unpeel the many stories that make Varanasi the city that it is. Every ghat comes with a quaint tale, and Aachal and Aayush have invested time in familiarizing themselves with each of them.
Deep Dive into Varanasi’s Culture
We did a 4 hour long combined tour with a sunrise boat ride and a walk through the alleys. Saurabh is very knowledgeable and interesting to talk to – full of stories and myths about the city of Kaashi. He answered all our questions happily and patiently. The boat ride was peaceful and great for photo ops. Particularly enjoyed the walking from Ghat to Ghat and visiting Tulsidas’ home. Definitely recommend it!
